Who is responsible for your data?

This website (halilaksu.com) is operated by Halil Aksu ("I", "me", or "my"). I am the data controller for any personal information you share with me through this site. Questions or requests can be sent to info@halilaksu.com.

I only collect information you actively provide via the contact forms on this site:

• Your company or organisation (optional)
• Your email address
• Your message, inquiry, or subject

I also collect standard technical data automatically when you visit: IP address, browser type, and referring URL. This is used solely for spam prevention and security (rate limiting).

Why I collect it

The sole purpose of collecting your information is to respond to your inquiry — whether that is a keynote booking request, advisory enquiry, or general message. I do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond replying to you.

Legal basis for processing

Processing your data is based on your consent — you choose to fill in and submit the form. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting me at info@halilaksu.com and requesting that your data be deleted.

How your data is stored

Form submissions are stored in a secure database on a private server hosted at IHS (ihs.com.tr) in Turkey. The database is not publicly accessible. Only I can access the admin panel using a password-protected login.

Sharing with third parties

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. Your submission is delivered to my email inbox via an SMTP server operated by my hosting provider. No other parties receive your data.

How long I keep your data

Submissions are retained for as long as is reasonably necessary to handle your inquiry and any follow-up communication. If you ask me to delete your data, I will do so promptly — see your rights below.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection law (including GDPR where applicable), you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data I hold about you.
• Rectification — ask me to correct inaccurate information.
